About Me
My name is Oksana Sivkovich Fagin.
I hold a PhD in Cognitive Psychology with a focus on the mechanisms of hypnosis. I have conducted research on hypnosis and have published and presented my findings at various conferences.
I am a member of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (SCEH), the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), and the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH).
For the past 12 years, I have been working with people using hypnosis as a tool.
In addition to my private practice, I serve as a faculty member in the Psychology Department at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY). There, I teach courses in Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods, and Behavioral Statistics. I also direct a Neuropsychology Laboratory, where I mentor students in conducting neuroscience-based research utilizing EEG techniques.
